Brad Alsobrook is a life-long Memphian.  He was born in Memphis, TN and has continued working and living in the area since he learned how to crawl.  Brad’s involvement with film started through a “ghost hunting” group formed in Memphis.  His fascination with the paranormal offered him a chance meeting with Anthony Howald, who was also involved with the group, and a relationship blossomed.  Their love of film and gray areas of the hereafter lead to long-winded conversations about the possibility of making a film based on a paranormal event that Alsobrook had himself witnessed. That event would become Rusted Sun Films’ first attempt into the realms of filmmaking. The 40 minute short film titled, THE VISITOR (2003) birthed another chance meeting.
While casting local actors for the film, Brad and Anthony met Bevan B. Bell.  After the casting call Brad and Anthony agreed that Bevan would be the choice to portray Brad in the supernatural thriller.
Brad’s penchant for vulgar humor and amusement with the sounds of bodily functions fit naturally into the scope of things to come.  However, his tenacity for chasing down locations and convincing others to help out a troupe of no-budget filmmakers is a skill to be rivaled.  Brad can convince nearly anyone of anything and that is what makes him a successful producer.  Brad serves as an Executive Producer and founding member of Rusted Sun Films.  Although he prefers being behind the scenes (thus not liking to have his photo taken), he has made various cameo appearances in all of Rusted Sun Films’ endeavors.
